- The aim of the Diabetes Education Study Group shall be to improve the quality of life of the diabetic patients through the development and evaluation of educational programmes designed to foster independence for the patient, to improve the quality of metabolic control, to emphasize the importance of prevention and early recognition of the disease and to encourage relevant research.
